Welcome to Ondekaremba
Nature’s paradise close to airport (7 km) and Windhoek (40 km)
With Namibia’s independence in 1990 and the boom in tourism, Ondekaremba transformed from a cattle farm to a guest farm and later to a lodge. Since 2011, it has been part of a partnership with Waterberg Wilderness and Ghaub that combines tourism with nature conservation. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ondekaremba was leased to a road construction company – a measure that ensured its survival but left the property in need of renovation. Now, under the umbrella of ONE Namibia, Ondekaremba is beginning a new chapter.
Our offer
- Ondekaremba is gradually reopening its doors, starting with a café in the old farmhouse.
- Starting with a small menu, gradually expanding.
- Not all offerings are available yet, expansion is ongoing.
- Invitation: ‘Come by for a fresh cup of coffee surrounded by nature – perfect before your flight or as a relaxing weekend getaway from the city.’
- Note: Menu only available on site.

Ondekaremba is more than a place of hospitality – it is a place full of possibilities.
It can develop into:
